Biography

Chadzilla is a diverse musician more than capable of adapting to any style or genre. His primary instruments are the drumset and voice. He also plays guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, is a songwriter and a producer. As a professional musician, he is a pivotal player in the Denver music scene. He is the bandleader for Chadzilla & The Asteroids, tours nationally and internationally with Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Munly and the Lupercalians and freelances with great local talent in the Denver Metro area. He has played drums for many Colorado Bands such as Tarantella, Polytoxic, Little Hercules, Liz Clark, the Garden Weasels and Perpetual Motion. He has shared the stage with such notable artists as Joe Walsh, Calexico, Daniel Ash, the Average White Band, Devotchka, Leo Nocentelli, Joe Bouchard, Bernie Worrell, the Village People and Dr. Hook. As a producer he has recorded albums with artists Bill Mckay, Jeff Wahl, Adam Stern, Emma Henry and Elea Plotkin. He has been teaching private music lessons since 1992 within the Denver Metro area. Currently he teaches out of his own studio, Monster Island Studios. Chadzilla is the musical director and creator of House of Rock (a teen to adult rock ensemble) at the Swallow Hill Music Association.
