Born in 1972 in Manhattan, New York; Ivette Mejias is a Puerto Rican singer who enjoys composing and singing Christians songs ; her EP is available through the mayor and world's most popular music stores, both online and off. She is working on fresh material for a near-future release (stay tuned); her innovative ways are demonstrated in each of her compositions thru the diverse melodies. Ivette began singing gospel songs when she was ten years old at her Church in Jayuya, P.R. In between recording and playing shows, Ivette is the President of a Women Ministry (Ministerio Mujer Pro Mujer) based in Puerto Rico; which main focus is to raise awareness against women domestic violence and developing ways to increase knowledge and self-empowerment thru Christian programs.
She is the author of "Panoramica: Palabras de Aliento," a book filled of rich reflextions for the soul and photos taken all over the world in places such as Germany, Puerto Rico, Ireland, France, Italy, etc. She is also a radio broadcaster of her own radio show "Panoramica: Dialogando con Ivette Mejias," which airs every wednesday from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Radio Una 1340 and a TV Producer of: "Panoramica con Ivette Mejias," which will air every first Monday of each month starting January 7, 2013 at CDM channel (Cadena del Milagro) which can be seen in all Latin-American and Europe via Dish network, Cable Tv and OneLink.
