Born and raised in Alabama, Jacobi has always had a strong love for music. Growing up singing in the church is how this R&B crooner developed his singing craft. Jacobi discovered a love for R&B music at a young age. One of his biggest musical inspirations, Michael Jackson, is one of the reasons Jacobi wanted to become an entertainer. He used to imitate Michael Jackson, from his dance moves down to his voice. "I remember learning how to 'moonwalk'. You couldn't tell me nothin'! I 'moonwalk-ed' at least 10 times a day after that!"
Jacobi knew he was destined to become a performer. He soon developed a desire to learn how to play the piano, and began playing at the age of 15. From then on, Jacobi started playing the piano for church and local groups. He began writing his own songs as well, in hopes of making a career out of music one day.
In 2010, Jacobi in the 'Art of Muziq' talent show in Atlanta and won 1st place! In February 2012, he was selected as an Emerging Artist by the Sound and Image Showcase. In the summer of 2012, Jacobi was selected to be an opener for the URock Tour, aimed at giving unsigned artists the chance to perform in different cities for major record labels as well as thousands of fans, to gain exposure. In June 2012, Jacobi won 'Male Artist of the Month' on starcentralmagazine.com. Jacobi is working hard to reach his goal of becoming an R&B recording artist.
