Jacqueline has been a musician all her life, composing music at the age of six, and performing Beethoven and Debussy at the age of ten. She also began writing short stories when she was six, and has always felt torn between music and literature. When she was 23, she received a Master's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from New York University, where she held three writing fellowships. To support herself, Jacqueline worked in publishing, publicity and marketing while sneakily playing music on the side. After toiling in the workaday world of publicity and marketing, Jacqueline was urged to quit her day job and pursue music full-throttle, based on the surprising success of a few homemade demos and a several well-prepared quick breads.
A funny and endearing presence, Jacqueline has been described as a combination of Amelie, Lucy Ricardo, and Julia Child. When she isn’t writing, she’s cooking and baking. Her Facebook profile has been growing exponentially in popularity, based solely on her food-based status updates. People really like food. She is a musician, composer, writer, cook, baker, Hitchcock scholar and Columbo devotee.
She thanks you for listening and loves you very very much.
