BIOGRAPHY
JAKE CLAYTON is a multi-instrumentalist with an exceptional musical talent. Although considering fiddle to be his primary instrument, Jake also plays guitar, piano, dobro, banjo, mandolin, lap steel, pedal steel, bass, and more! In total JAKE plays 27 different instruments, which also includes a list of orchestral instruments such as the viola, cello, and stand-up bass… and YES, Jake sings too.
Jake Clayton has been steadily building a name for himself on the Country Music circuit over the past 8 years playing as a ‘utility musician’ for various recording artists. As a utility musician, Jake tours the country with some of Nashville’s biggest stars and has already performed at legendary venues such as Madison Square Garden and the Grand Ole Opry. Jake has also appeared in two Top20 Country Music videos and on various national television broadcasts on CMT, GAC, WGN, and more. Most recently, Jake toured with Sunny Sweeney, who appeared on Brad Paisley's 2011 tour and Gary Allen's 2012 tour. Now Jake is spending more time playing shows with his own band and working on his next CD release.
