James Casto

Biography

In 2002, James Casto took a leap of faith, left Corporate America and returned to writing songs, a passion that began in high school on an old, out of tune upright piano in his parents basement near Atlanta, GA. Since then he’s written for country, gospel, and indie artists as well as for companies like Kroger, Mazda, Macy’s, Mercy Ships, and more. As a performer, he’s played legendary venues such as the Bluebird Café, Eddie’s Attic, The University of Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, and many more. The story of James Casto is about taking a risk to pursue a passion. Casto sums up his new life and lessons learned in his song "Two Inches Deep"...Today I'm taking back my life, letting go of things I cannot keep, 'cause today I looked up and realized I've been drowning in water two inches deep.
