BIOGRAPHY
I grew up listening to gospel and country music. At age 19, I met and fell in love with Rick Sikes and once we were finally able to start a life together, he taught me to play guitar and I began writing songs. I love the creative flow when it happens and it's nothing that can be forced or contrived. It just happens and at that point, you become a medium for the flow! Love that feeling. I've written lots of songs and poems, but my writing abilities really began to emerge when I wrote a screenplay and then a novel, "Flowers and Stone". I am working on my second novel now and my passion is to keep the story moving and live!!! "Still is still moving to me", as Willie says!!
