Songwriter, Jan Stroup, AKA Roscoe, has been working in the Twin Cities area as a guitarist since 1975. Mr. Stroup has a BA in English from the University of Minnesota and lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Mary Jean, their son, Sam and their dog, Ivy. Since 1986 Jan has been the guitar player for The Sevilles, one of the midwest's most successful bands performing for private functions. His experience playing so many different styles of music has allowed him to write songs in several different genres for both men and women.
