Jason Lee grew up in a minister of music's home and was raised on the music of Bill Gaither and Led Zeppelin. He has a church music degree from Anderson University in Indiana and has 16 years of progressive experience in the music ministry. He has experience as a worship leader, singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, arranger, and producer.
Jason has released 4 CD's, all consisting of original material. "Still Waters" (1996), "As I Am" (2000), "The Christmas Project" (2001) - an instrumental Christmas CD with Steve Hancock, and a secular project of rock, pop and country songs released in 2008 entitled, "Someone Else". In 2005 he produced, mixed and led worship on "Shake the Foundation...LIVE!" A live worship recording by The Grace Worship Choir (www.connect2grace.com) Most of these projects are available to purchase on iTunes or at cdbaby.com. They are also available at www.jasonleemusic.com. Jason is currently back in the studio working with a new group called, Charis. You can find out more about them at www.charis-music.com
Jason's passion has now shifted from writing and performing music - to leading others in worship. He still writes music, but his main focus is on developing worshipers and living a life of passionate praise as a friend of God. He's written several worship songs that he hopes to record on a live worship CD in the future.
Jason is currently the worship pastor at Sugar Hill Church just outside of Atlanta, GA. The church has grown from 250 in attendance to around 1500 during the last 7 years. They are trying really hard to lose religion - and find Jesus. You can view several videos of Jason leading worship online at: www,youtube.com/jonjsnlee.
