Biography

New England Songsmith/Guitarist Jay Psaros is gracefully emerging from the Boston area. After the successful release of “Tripping and Running” in 2009, Jay has toured the country bringing a fresh, energetic twist to acoustic and alternative folk music. 2010 included performances at the House of Blues Boston, frequent airplay on several boston radio stations, interest from local news and media as well as educational features at regional schools.
Jay recently released his Sophomore album "On up the Road." On up the road brings together a variety of genres that could all vaguely be linked to folk rock with styles ranging from pop, blues, rock, classic singer/songwriter, jazz and well.... folk.
