A classically-trained singer and violinist, Jean Watson delved into the
Christian recording world as a singer/songwriter in 2003. Since that time,
her music and testimony of God's grace and healing have touched
thousands of lives around the world. Jean’s unforgettable voice,
described by many as ‘healing’ and ‘angelic’, carries with it a
vulnerability that breaks the boundaries of the heart. With a sound that
fuses elements of pop, Celtic, and world music, Jean Watson is quietly
but boldly breaking the boundaries of the Christian music world.
Jean has recorded 4 CD’s since 2003. Her latest offering, entitled
“Everything Can Change”, was produced by Dove Award winner Don
Koch. With Don’s talents as co-writer and producer and the strings of the
City of Prague Philharmonic, this record allows Jean’s voice and music to
shine at their very best!
Ms. Watson maintains a full concert schedule in the US and in the UK
where she was named "Female Praise and Worship Artist USA" by the UK
New Christian Music Alliance in both 2008 and 2009. Since 2007, Jean has
performed 7 ministry tours in England, with 3 more scheduled for later
this year in England and Ireland.
Jean is a talented and entertaining performer, but she prefers not to
entertain, but rather to see God use her music and story to change lives.
She has committed much of her ministry time to "the least of these" by
regularly visiting prisons, jails, and homeless shelters. When she is not
traveling, Jean enjoys playing in the symphony in her home state of
Michigan, volunteering at a therapeutic riding center, and spending time
with her four children.
