Biography

Jeff Partrick, a singer songwriter from Ottawa, has been involved with music from an early age and has been singing, playing guitar and writing music for over 18 years.

Jeff’s music approaches issues and feelings from a positive perspective even when writing about topics that may not be positive. Always conscious of his audience, his music strives to create a positive reaction and emotion from the listener as he tells his story and sets the atmosphere.

When asked about his musical philosophy, Jeff said, “At some level, I believe music should be fun and entertaining. I am drawn to the positive elements of music and I believe that is what can make music so incredibly moving and powerful.”

Jeff’s musical influences cover the last four decades and he enjoys performing songs from artists such as The Beatles and The Eagles to 80’s music icons John Mellancamp, Bryan Adams and KISS to 90’s acts like The Tragically Hip, Collective Soul and the Goo Goo Dolls to today’s top performers like Sam Roberts, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Jet, Green Day, Weezer and The Trews.

Jeff has played both cover and original music in numerous bands in Ottawa and Toronto and he has experience playing everything from intimate house parties to audiences of 500 people. One of Jeff’s personal highlights was when he was pulled out of the crowd by Bryan Adams to perform with Bryan on stage at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in front of 13,000 people.
