Malinda DeBry, a renowned competition fiddle player, has been playing and performing since the age of five. Throughout her musical career she has been a national fiddle champion, and repeatedly won regional and state competitions. She has performed for two US presidents, foreign dignitaries, local fairs, festivals and numerous events, but she finds her greatest joy in playing with friends and family. She considers being a wife and mother of five her highest achievement and shares her talents by teaching others the art of fiddling. Even though her musical influences are American, Old Time, Texas Style, Bluegrass and Swing Fiddle, she has a great love for the beauty of traditional, beloved hymns..
Jennifer Butikofer is a singer/songwriter and composer currently residing in Meridian, Idaho with her husband and four children. Her love of composition began at age six when she wrote her first song on the back of a diaper box using made-up notation in order to perform in the school talent show. Soon after, she began formal training in classical piano and voice, at times receiving lectures from parents and teachers to stop inventing and to "stick to the song". Jen's love of music followed her to Utah State University where she continued to write and perform while earning a master's degree in Computer Science. Through the years, Jen has won or placed in several songwriting contests, the most recent being the 2011 Tyler Castleton/Jenny Phillips LDS Songwriting Competition. Her piano compositions have a classical new age influence and are known for their dynamic musicality while her singer/songwriter style has a lighter inspirational/pop sound.
