Biography

Vocalist Jennifer Keith is an American Classic and a descendent of a line of entertainers that began with her Great Great Grandfather B.F. Keith, the “K” in RKO Pictures, one of the Big Five studios of Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Jennifer began her professional career appearing weekly at a supper club in Long beach, California, where she learned the classic vocal stylings of the jazz and pop singers of the 1940’s and 50’s. She was heavily influenced by leading vocalists of the greatest era of music including Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Keely Smith, Julie London, Patsy Cline, Jo Stafford and June Christy.

Mando Dorame, the Royal Crown Revue’s tenor saxophonist discovered Jennifer Keith, guiding her musical direction and helping her form a jazz quintet.

In 2011 The Jennifer Keith Quintet began a year-long engagement every Saturday night in the Observation Bar aboard the prestigious Queen Mary in Long Beach.

You can also catch Jennifer in the prestigious rooftop bistro and nightclub "Bar Thirteen" located in downtown Los Angeles every Wednesday night.

Jennifer also performs in U.S. and International venues as a vocalist with the acclaimed Royal Crown Revue. In November of 2010, Jennifer and the Royal Crown revue completed a European tour of Greece, Spain and England followed by an Australian encore tour in early 2011. Previous performances included a prestigious Egyptian tour as a guest of the State department and Australian tour.
Jennifer’s first album, “Jenny is Her Name” debuted in the spring of 2011 spanning blues and jazz and classic country. Her album is available on iTunes or if you are in southern California, autographed DVDs are available at the Queen Mary, in the Long Beach Harbor.

Jennifer recently hosted a live national television show auctioning classic fine art from the Masters. She is a trained actress and enjoys playing interesting roles in independent films.
