Biography

Jennifer is currently appearing solo and with her band at Hillcrest Country Club and The California Club.

Jennifer Wood is a singer, pianist, composer, songwriter and actress who began her LOVE of all the arts as a child in Kansas City where she learned to play the piano and the Hammond B-3 organ. Jennifer studied voice with renowned European Opera star Dorothy Neville. Her early career began performing with K.C. Jazz musicians and recording with Pat Metheny. She has performed throughout the United States and Europe. Jennifer resides in Los Angeles, California.

Her first CD "Intimate" features The Great American Songbook and three of her original compositions.

"Heart Sounds" is thoughtful and romantic with a European vibe . . . she has written five originals for this stunning new album!

Jennifer Wood is a proud member of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Music For Healing Program in Los Angeles, California and a member of SAG/AFTRA/ASCAP.
