Jenny Davis returns to the studio after a five-year hiatus with a new album of intimate jazz standards titled: INSIDE YOU. The album includes some original and little known tracks drawn from some of the best composers. Internationally renowned composer, RODGERS GRANT, worked closely with Davis, and contributes with his sultry ballad, MORNING GLORY, while JENNY DAVIS displays her commitment to jazz with the title track.

Featured on INSIDE YOU; are jazz guitarist, Chuck Easton; San Francisco tenor saxophonist, Louis Aissen and double bassist, Ted Enderle. All with decades of seasoned jazz experience as ‘top in their field’ performers and educators. Chuck Easton, a Berklee School of Music alumni and grant recipient from the National Endowment of the Arts, and has gone on to educate hundreds of students, including celebrated guitarist, Miles Okasaki, who regularly performs with Jane Monheit.
RODGERS GRANT (b. 1935) Pianist Rodgers Grant is best known for his work with Mongo Santamaria in the 1960s, where, for a time, Herbie Hancock was his substitute. His composition Morning Star has been frequently recorded by Stan Getz, Hubert Laws, Ralph Moore and others. He was a co-writer of the pop hit Yeh Yeh which is sometimes featured in film and TV soundtracks. Sonny Fortune, Groove Holmes, T.S. Monk, and Mongo are among the other Jazz artists who have recorded his compositions.
