Jerry Adams

“Brown-Eyed Country Soul” is a new sound and concept in music. Brown Eyed Country Soul is a blend of a little country, blues, r&b and soul to give you that new sound in music. This new sound in music history, brings in a new era in music and talent.

A single father of two, Jerry Adams, is a vigorous young man who has just finished a full album labeled, Midnight Seduction. . His first priorities are his family and his music, and with eight children, Mr. Adams is definitely a strong believer in ‘old school’ style family values.

Born and raised in the dirty south, Adams credits his parents, (who were both singers in their own rights), for his love of music. His mother, Ruby Guyton Adams, sang in numerous church choirs, and his father, Odell Adams, came from a musical family who were leaders in the gospel music movement across the south.
Jerry Adams says he can vividly recall crafting his talent by singing and dancing while basking in the hot sun of the Shelby, North Carolina cotton fields, and competing in local talent shows. Adams often dreamed of one day becoming a singer and songwriter, and joining the ranks of musicians such as Otis Redding, Marvin Gay, Luther Vandross, and Elvis Presley. With his smooth, sultry, and soulful voice, Adams believes that his ‘crooning’ style is a blend of R&B, blues, and country; which he often refers to as “Brown-Eyed Country Soul”.

All in all, Jerry Adams believes that music should not only be sexy and soulful, but inspiring as well. He feels that it should reach deep into one’s heart and soul, while brining out those unseen emotions that we all possess.
