BIOGRAPHY
Jerry Diaz & Hanna's Reef hail from the Gulf Coast of Texas. Born and raised near Sabine Pass, singer/songwriter Jerry Diaz grew up with a love of boats, the beach, and Texas and Louisiana culture. These influences are obvious in the music he writes. The son of a merchant marine, and an artist, Diaz comes by his love of traveling, and all things tropical, honestly. The band Jerry Diaz & Hanna's Reef tours throughout Texas, and the Gulf Coast extensively. Appearing at numerous festivals, venues, and private shows in the region, the band has developed a loyal following there. In 2012, the band was voted Trop-Rock's national "Band of the Year" at the Trop-Rock Awards in Key West, FL. As of 2012, the band has four CDs of original music, the latest being, "On a Beach in Mexico".
