Jessica Lisette is a Cuban American singer/songwriter who specializes in the Spanish pop genre. At 20 years old, she is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter who composes in both English and Spanish. Having been born in the United States to Cuban parents, Jessica Lisette grew up speaking Spanish fluently at home and was exposed to a wide variety of Latin music from a very young age. As a clasically trained soprano, Jessica Lisette branched into the Spanish genre in her early teens after being influenced by artists such as Armando Manzanero, Juan Gabriel, Celia Cruz, Luis Miguel, and Gloria Estefan. A native of Las Vegas Nevada, she is proud to be living the American dream and at the same time have the privilege to be able to maintain her Hispanic heritage alive.
Her original song and debut single “Francisco” is a musical fusion of jazz/flamenco/salsa about that special person whose name you can’t help but hear wherever you go because it’s so imprinted on your heart. I believe that most of us have known a “Francisco” at some point in our lives – that special someone who inspires us to take risks and dream bigger. This song is for all those “Francisco’s” out there.
