BIOGRAPHY

Jimmy James Bee (Formerly known as James Blackburn) has been passionate about music ever since he glazed his eyes upon the debut of Australian Idol. He was determined about his music career from the moment he first dominated the piano and started singing at the age of 8, and mastering the saxophone at 10. He has been a strong confident part of many jazz bands, concert bands, choirs, rock bands, and as a treat for the Queen of England, he once sang as part of the CHOGM Opening Ceremony in 2011, alongside Guy Sebastian, the winner of the first season of Australian Idol, which has been confirmed as a high point for him. His talented skills have also seen him play in China as part of the Tutti Beijing Music Tour. As of now, he has written over 50 songs in the past 3 years

Now, he is studying in the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, playing 5 instruments (vocals, piano, saxophone, guitar and drums), and he states that "he wants to bring the world together through the power of music. Music isn't about looks - it's about the many different types of instruments, dynamics, sounds, and words brought together to push forward a message. It's known to be the sound of the universe, and I'm glad to be sharing that with you. I'll promise to not do just rock or pop, but I promise to try all types of contemporary music genres, from Pop to Reggae to Soul. I'm really excited about sharing my gift, and I'm confident and determined that you will like it as well"
