Joe Allen was born in June of 1975 in Caldwell, Idaho. Joe was in Band and Choir from 5th Grade to his senior year, and stayed active in music after leaving High School. He joined his Dad and Uncles band in 1990 where he began learning the guitar and backup vocals. They performed locally for years until life began…his first son was born in December of 1995. It was then that music was put on the back-burner. He moved to Mountain Home, Idaho in 1998 because of work. November of 1999 he joined a local Mountain Home group named The Jeff Palmer Band. Things took off for him as a background singer/bassist. He worked with them until July of 2002 when the drummer, guitarist and himself started a new group named Octane, where they hired a local singer for a front man and took over the local scene until July of 2008 where he and the drummer started yet another band named The Randy Richards where they hired a new guitarist and began a power trio but this time Joe was the front man and lead singer.
Joe is now working on becoming a new country artist with his own style and sound. He has partnered up with a local song writer Brian Banks and together they are kicking names and taking…well you get the point. Currently Joe has just finished up his first single World’s Greatest Dad, to be released around the third week of May 2011 under Brian’s own label, Stubborn Horse Records. This single will be available on CD Baby, ITunes, Rhapsody and locally by the end of May 2011.
