BIOGRAPHY
Joe Hardy Wiley is a folk singer. He comes from a coal mining community in the Lackawanna Valley. He begin writing at an early age and bought his first guitar with the money he made doing carpentry with his father. Spending time listening to the records of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan and The Beatles, he taught himself how to play the guitar from hearing the sounds he heard on the albums.
