Joe Kingston plays bass in a five piece band on the inter-island cruise ship, The Pride of America (Norwegian Cruise Line) in Hawai'i. In between Ship contracts, He sings on a dinner cruise that sails nightly out of Honolulu.
He also plays ukulele and guitar, as can be heard on the album,"Songs for Trixe". On this album, Joe plays all the instruments and handles the lead and backing vocals himself. His other two cds (On the Swing Shift & World that Swings), feature many artists from the bands that Joe was working with on the cruise ships. Kingston also does solo and combo gigs at hotels, clubs, and lounges throughout Honolulu, as well as weddings, conventions, and private functions.
