Biography

National recording artist John Christopher hit the music scene in late 2008 with the release of his debut album, Leap of Faith. In 2009, John garnered both national and international attention with his version of the classical, Avé Maria. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to perform with Jodi Benson, the Osmond family, Celine Dion, and the For All We Call Mizzou Singers. John attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and graduated with a degree in Media Convergence, Broadcast Journalism. While in college, John was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Since graduating in 2007, music has been his main focus and John has since become a voice for child abuse awareness and prevention.
In writing Innocence Lost, John has been able to combine two of his passions, music and children. With hopes of bringing attention to the taboo subject of child abuse, John has teamed up with David B. Hooten, The C.A.R.E. Center, Inc., and the National Children’s Alliance to create the national Innocence Lost Campaign, launched April 1, 2010.
