Songwriter/guitarist/pianist from Sugar Land, TX, John has spent the last 7, or so years playing guitar/keys in the band Dashboard Confessional. Wrote and recorded his first solo record, "Better By Design," between the cracks of a busy DC schedule throughout 2007 - 2008. Tracked in his adopted hometown of Dallas, TX - mostly with producer/engineers, Salim Nourallah (Old ‘97’s, Rhett Miller) and Rip Rowan. The album features a handful of talented Dallas musicians, plus cameos from John's DC bandmates.
