Born Long Beach Ca, 1957. Mostly self taught, except for a few lessons with a jazz guitarist named Jack Adams(fictitiously I am sure). Also studied a little over three years classical piano with former concert pianist from Argentina, Maria Ledda (now deceased). Basically, I am a rock guitarist who understands the structual mechanics of jazz music, but never pursuing it in it's pure state. I have always maitained there are not necessary any wrong notes in jazz. (Smile.) I heard it rumored Miles Davis once said, "I never practice man, it keeps me fresh." I don't really know for sure if he said that, but I certainly like the sound of it.
I enjoy composing film type music and playing fast guitar (hopefully with some measure of melodic content, some of the time). The pieces are very diverse, and so one, here and there, may strike your fancy. I hope so.
