Biography

JohnStone Reggae Band has been unleashing its original roots reggae vibes in Washington DC metro, Maryland and Virginia area for several years now. The band has been touring extensively throughout the Eastern and Western United States.

With an arsenal of crucial roots-influenced original compositions, complemented by tasteful covers, the band is well-equipped to handle venues of all sorts. JohnStone released its debut album Eyes Open in September 2005 and has won several DC Annual Reggae Music Awards including 'Live On' the 2001 song of the year and 'Shashamane Land' the 2005 Song of the Year. In 2007 the band released INNOCENT CHILDREN its second full length album to the delight of many reggae music fans.

The band features Andre White on vocals and guitar, Alfred Adams on drums, Warren Pedersen on bass Benjamin Crandall on Saxophone and Chet Nunoo-Quarcoo on percussions.
