Performer/composer, Joseph E. Reed, earned his B.A. in Music from Colorado State University in 2001. There he served as the director of the Voices of Unity Gospel Choir and the CSU MVP’s (Male Vocal Performers), and arranged and performed songs with the Resonant Ramblings a cappella group.
Joseph sang with the Colorado Springs Chorale, rock band NDScision, the America The Beautiful Barbershop Chorus and the barbershop quartet Velcro. He served for seven years teaching vocal music at Mann Middle School in Colorado Springs. Joseph was also very involved with the worship arts teams at various churches in the area and formed and directed the Vocal Point a cappella group in 2006.
In addition to utilizing his vocal training, Joseph plays guitar, violin, piano, bass, and drums. His compositions widely range in style. Reed writes and performs rap, punk rock, alternative, heavy metal, acoustic folk-rock, contemporary Christian, R&B, country, a cappella, pop, jazz, musical theatre, choral, and classical music.
His first full length album "Nineleven" was produced by Trinity Nation in 2002 and features several of his musical styles. Joseph now lives in Atlanta, GA and is following his aspirations to advance in the music industry as a songwriter, recording artist, and performer.
