Heather and Raquelle are two sisters from South Carolina who enjoy arranging and playing harp music together. When people ask us which song or album is our favorite, we jokingly explain that we only play our favorites so we like them all!
We both started off playing the piano by ear. As time has gone by, we've learned to read and write music and learned to play the organ, violin, guitar - and of course, harp! We teach music lessons, besides performing with our harps. Between us, we usually have about 40 students. We've performed in several states, been on local TV and radio, and been featured in several publications.
Our family traditions have included music for generations back. Some of our earliest memories are of family sing-a-longs at our great-grandparents' house. The love of music and the love of old traditions have come together to create our unique brand of traditional folk music.
