BIOGRAPHY
Hope you like my music!
I'm currently working on a stunning new instrumental album entitled 'Singing Rock Lake'. Essentially keyboard-based, the album will also feature six and twelve string acoustic and electric guitar, banjo and two new synthesizers. Singing Rock Lake will also feel much 'heavier' than any of my previous albums, with extended lead guitar work on most tracks.
I hope you enjoy the 'Dreamcatcher Edition' of 'Captain Salty Takes A Trip'. I've spent some time writing new album material in order to realise my original vision of the concept, and I'm quite pleased with the result. I've also released one or two 'singles' from the album, all with their own artwork.
My other albums, 'Neostatic', 'The Notorious Sundance Sisters', and 'Still Life With Jellies' are also available for download. 'Neostatic' features some upbeat electronica and synth compositions, while 'Sundance' and 'Jellies' are essentially compilation albums featuring many of the tracks found on an earlier 'Salty' album with many other great tracks thrown in for good measure.
Many album tracks have been released as 'singles' with alternative artwork.
The digital editing powers of today are ahead of what was available even ten years ago. I have 32 tracks of digital sound that can be shaped, enhanced and rearranged in any fashion to create a variety of cutting edge musical styles. I currently use a Fender Telecaster, an Ashton acoustic guitar and an Ibanez electric bass. A Korg M50 workstation, and a Novation Ultranova synthesizer make up the bulk of my keyboard equipment. All of my recent music was recorded on a Korg D3200 digital multitracker and a Zoom HD 16 portastudio. Other equipment includes: Korg R3 synthesizer, AXL Badwater electric guitar, Danelectro twelve string electric guitar, Ashton twelve string acoustic guitar, Behringer Composer Pro-XL, Behringer Tube Composer T1952, Electro Harmonix Tone Tattoo multi effects...and many other pieces of amazing kit, too numerous to mention!
