Judy Coder

Biography

Kansas’ own “Yodeling Princess”, Judy Coder brings style and grace to the stage, and electrifies audiences with her vocal styles. Her work is dazzling – she moves effortlessly from tones that are warm and sultry to bright and shimmering.

Judy's impressive vocal range is not only great for the classics, but ideal for cowboy style yodeling. She has received several awards for her yodeling. Her career in western music began when she was named the 1999 Pasty Montana National Yodeling Champion, and it really swung into high gear when she won the title of 2001 Western Music Association (WMA) International Yodeling Champion. In 2008, she was named Yodeler of the Year by the Academy of Western Artists (AWA), and she reclaimed the title of WMA International Yodeling Champion.

She researches her own historical presentations, does all her own promotions and makes her own business deals; when she is home, Judy operates a private music studio, where she teaches voice and writes choral music. She has released several solo efforts on the Santa Rita Records label; all her recordings are available online at CDBaby.com.
