Born and raised in Cali, Colombia.
In 1989, she obtained a degree in professional Music in Berklee College of Music in Boston.
After graduating, she went back to Colombia and started a career as singer, songwriter and actress.

In Colombia she belonged music group “Propiedad Pública”, Recorded popular soap opera themes like “La Otra Mitad del Sol”, “Perro Amor” and “Porqué Diablos”, Actress of the musical show “Sorprendidas II”, the television comedy “Las Marias”, and the soap opera “Perro Amor”, In this one she was part of the soundtrack as a singer and songwriter and vocal coach for the reality show, “Pop Stars”.

Today she lives in Miami and has written songs for Latin artists such as: Sasha (Mexico), Manny Manuel (Puerto Rico) and wrote the Spanish version of the song “No Hace Falta Un Hombre” interpreted by Jaci Velasquez, which was featured in the soundtrack of the film “Chasing Papi .

On 2003 she paired up with singer songwriter Jorge Luis Chacín. They collaborated and sang the main theme for Telemundo’s soap opera: “Anita No Te Rajes”. Together they formed the duo “BACHÁ” and got nominated to the Latin Grammy Awards 2005, in the category of “Best Contemporary Tropical Album”.

Her first solo album " La Vida Se Va" was released on April 2009:
"Lush mix of danceability and nostalgia, peppered with funk and the traditional rhythms of Barrios native Colombia" by Leila Cobo /Billboard magazine.
In 2010 she was awarded by ISC (International Songwriting competition-Nashville) winning the first place on the category of Latin Music with her song; "A Donde Irán las Penas" which is part of her last production.

She is a Special Guest of Folklore Urbano , Big band from New York that mixes Colombian Rhythms with Jazz.
