Since the release of Juliann Kuchocki’s debut full length album Don’t Explain in April 2010, and her new album of original music, Broken Compass in May 2012, and BLUE GIRL GREEN MARCH, 2013, Juliann has established record deals in four countries, won Best New Artist - Original Jazz Music at the 2011 Barrie Music Festival, she opened the CMW jazz festival with rave reviews), and has had Broken Compass programmed by over 150 radio stations world wide - reaching the top 10 in many countries, climbing up to #8 on Earshot National Jazz Chart; #25 on US Roots Music Report Jazz Chart; and #18 on the CMJ Chart. Juliann has also won 3 songwriting competitions last year alone.


BLUE GIRL GREEEN is Juliann’s latest release featuring some Blues standards as well as a couple of original tracks. Blue Girl Green, Juliann’s album of original compositions, Broken Compass, and her 2010 release Don’t Explain of jazz standards and originals showcase Juliann’s innate gifts and versatility. They are a celebration of a life’s journey that has been by turns exciting and glamorous - yet also challenging and painful. Her own indomitable spirit and influences from great jazz, R&B, soul and pop artists past and present shine all the way through.

Juliann Kuchocki’s passion for music and sharing creative energy with an audience radiates from the stage. In person, one is quickly impressed by the scope of her confident yet humble personality – equally informed by the glare of the spotlight and sheer hard work behind the scenes.

Juliann’s musical voice has been shaped by years of professional experience as a vocalist, actress, director, producer, dancer and choreographer. She has headlined the Mont Tremblant Jazz Festival and performed at the TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival; Celebrate Toronto street festival; Port Credit Street Festival; toured as a cast member of Cats in Germany, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat across North America and Beauty & the Beast in Japan; and performed at countless festivals & events around the world. Selected film and TV credits include: the long-running Canadian drama DaVinci’s Inquest, First Wave, Defiance, Ohio with Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore and Laura Dern, and Martin and Lewis with Sean Hayes.

Juliann is the proud owner and director/ choreographer of Pro Arts triple-threat events company and school.
