BIOGRAPHY
Julie Derrick was schooled in vocals by The Godfather of the Blues, Mr. Clyde Hopkins, the nephew of Lightnin' Hopkins. Julie Derrick also learned much about songwriting from members of The Hi Rhythm Section, Al Green's band, while in Memphis, Tennessee. Julie Derrick is currently being produced by Morris J. Williams, formerly of Hi Records in Memphis, Tennessee.
