Biography

Singer-Songwriter/ Guitarist and Recording Artist Julie Kinscheck brings a message of hope with a twist of jazz and a scoop of country to contemporary folk and Gospel music. Audiences are moved by her heartfelt lyrics, enjoy her soaring vocals and relate to the real and often humorous stories behind her songs.

Raised with folk roots in Ithaca N.Y., she launched a street tour of Europe, followed by a few years training at Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio. At last she landed at Berklee College of Music in Boston on a full scholarship and received several jazz vocal awards. Some fans have called her the : Queen of SCAT!

Named one of the most promising unsigned writers by the National Academy of Songwriters, Julie has played across the US and Europe. She has been honored to play on large stages such as Madison Square Garden, NYC and the Fleet Center, Boston and also many conferences, small churches, restaurants, weddings and charity events.

Currently in the Boston area, Music ministry is her passion. She writes custom songs for many Christian events and conferences. Julie is also no stranger to supporting important causes with her art. She has written songs and/or performed for Hope Worldwide, Compassion International, Suicide Prevention, Ithaca alcoholism Counsel, Special Olympics, Peace Games and various political events to same a few.

She is married to her keyboardist and producer, Ralph Kinscheck and is proud mom to twins Caleb and Hannah.
