Biography

Juliette Daum, a solo classical concertina player originally from Wisconsin U.S.A, has studied and lived in Europe for the past 10 years. Studying Music, Art and Life in several countries. Her original recordings, from 2006-2007, were done in a Templar Church in the Heart of France. Her album 'Concertina at Courteix' is a remastered selection put together from her first three Cds, 'Juliette et le Concertina,' ' Bach's Truffles,' and 'Mallorca - Dulce y Picante.' The pieces are composed by J.S. Bach, Bartolome Calatayud, Manuel Ponce and Claude Thomain. Originally written for instruments such as the Violin, Organ, Accordion and Classical Guitar, the music has adapted beautiful the the English Concertina. All pieces are played solo on the concertina.
