Justin Burgess (aka Just B) is a highly accomplished and successful singer/songwriter as well as a charismatic performer and recording artist. His eighth CD, Porno Star No.3, is set to be released in Canada in the early part of 2010 and is also available on this website and at www.cdbaby.com.
Justin, who holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts from the University of Western Ontario, writes, sings, plays bass, drums, piano, and guitar, and lives and rocks out of Hanover in Southwestern Ontario. He has also played and toured the world extensively as a founding member of Big On Venus and Popjoy, the drummer for Tres Hombres and as a member of legendary Candian rock band Thundermug. On the other end of the musical spectrum, Justin has written scores for plays and arrangements for full orchestras.
Two singles from his previous release Orgasms and Atom Bombs (Just B) -- “Holler Out To Heaven” and “Kiss Me Baby” -- received tremendous radio support throughout Canada in 2009.
As usual - all the songs on the new CD, Porno Star No.3, were written, recorded, performed and produced by Justin at Just B's House of Rock, incorporating slinky and snarly guitar bursts, combined with a big punchy rock and roll style. This latest CD blasts off from note #1 and doesn't let up till the final chord.
