BIOGRAPHY
My personal bio goes something like this...
I was born and raised on the Texas Gulf Coast. I've roughnecked in the oilfield, wrestled gators, did the Texas Two-Step with rattlers, went whole hawg with javelinas, rode Brahma bulls in the rodeo, lassoed tornados, unwound hurricanes, converted virgins, fished every inch of the Laguna Madre and I even managed to piss off every woman I ever made the mistake of falling in love with. In between all that stuff I played whenever and wherever I could with whomever showed up. Never made any money at it but, I sure had fun!
The music I was raised on covered everything from Bob Wills and Hank Williams to Chuck Berry and Fats Domino, the Beatles and Elvis to Muddy and Howlin' Wolf. I sound like everybody, nobody and anybody or just myself all at various times depending on the song and my mood at the time. I never made it big in the music biz but, I've met and played with a lot of very talented people, some of whom were and still are well-known and some who were and still are unheard of, as well as everything in between. I play blues (mostly) some country, some rock, some novelty tunes and whatever else I feel like at the moment.
My music ain't nothin' fancy, it's just plain and simple like me. So, if you enjoy stripped down, basic music with a sense of humor then, maybe you'll enjoy what I have to offer. If you like what you hear, let me know.
