On the cusp of Norah Jones and Tracy Chapman, Karen Naomi’s voice is "strong... smoky and smooth" (Pegasus News). Her stripped-down acoustic performances are often embellished with layered guitar sampling.
Karen's debut album, Blind, was released in 2005. The six song EP features "folk influences... melodic songwriting... heartbreaking lyrics," and "an emotional vocal performance" (Music Genome Project).
She has been featured in the Dallas news publication Quick DFW and appeared on HDNet's True Music w/Katie Daryl.
Karen currently resides in Austin, TX and is working on her follow-up full length album.
