Karmen Michael is an American singer-songwriter and producer. He grew up the youngest of five children amidst the humble backdrop of Texas, where he found solace in music. Karmen has been singing and writing songs since an early age. He grew up singing in church choirs and participating in various theater productions. At age 23, Karmen moved to New York where he hit the ground running. Karmen has performed in numerous venues, worked with the legendary Manhattans, been mentored by various big names, and even interned at Atlantic Records. After a two-year hiatus, Karmen has returned to creating music with, That I Am, a masterful collection of songs that demonstrate his growth and maturity as an artist.
