Katie Brennan is a harpist and singer-songwriter of original country and Americana songs. Ms. Brennan grew up in rural western Washington state where she learned to sing and play piano and harp. She started writing songs and playing in bands as a teenager, and explored several genres with harp and vocals before finding her voice in Americana songwriting through the influences of a list of female country singers a mile long including Cindy Walker, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, Pasty Cline, Dolly Parton, Emmy Lou Harris, Iris Dement, and Gillian Welch.
