Keith has had a passion for music since a very early age, especially rock music. Having been a songwriter since he was 17, only in the last two years has he brought his rock songs to fruition working with local music talents including Mark Fevello on piano, Tony Hanson of the group Fenix Down on guitar and drums and Joe Martino on some guitar riffs and engineering. The songs for "The Trap"were mastered by Matt Powell and all recording was done at Fenix Studios in Staten Island, NY. Keith Steier gratefully thanks these guys as well as Pleasant, (Vocals Producer/coach)and especially his family and friends. As an independent artist, Keith's first offering, "The Trap" has something for almost everyone. From the energetic rock songs like "Any Given Day" and "Electricity", to the songs "Cracks" and "More", which jazz lovers and rockers alike will enjoy. Then there's also some pop in the rock with the love songs "Girl" and Someday You Will".
Keith grew up in Brooklyn, NY., moved to Long Island as a teenager and currently resides in Staten Island, NY. He draws his inspiration from life experiences and relationships including four years of travel in the US Navy.
