Kelly Chapman is a multi-talented, singer/songwriter/speaker/author and actress performing in the United States and all over the world. She has shared her music and story via television on world-renowned shows including: Harvest Show on LeSea Broadcasting; Celebration of Praise with Ron Rosson and friends, via the Christian Television Network; Focus Four, via Cornerstone Television Network; and Video Gospel on Black Entertainment Television (BET). In addition to her musical talents, Kelly has travels the country, speaking about her recently released book, Real: The Truth About Being Single with Kelly Chapman.

Having written eight of the 12 songs on the CD, she brings a unique singing and songwriting style to the increasingly crowded talent pool of Christian artists. “Heal Me” was a finalist in the 2004 Gospel Music Association’s Songwriting Competition and the International Songwriting Competition. A corresponding video was released worldwide and is in rotation on most major television networks including BET, Video Gospel, Christian Television Network, and Gospel Music Television, among others. It was also chosen for BET’s television promotions for their Hurricane Katrina Relief Telethon.
Her sophomore release, Great is Your Grace is poised to trump her first CD in terms of songwriting, musicianship, and production. Bringing in Grammy-award winning musicians, and a strong family-based production team, Kelly takes her lyrical and musical interpretation to another level. From Pop to Rock, to the soul-stirring rendition of “Bankrupt” and “Excuse Me While I Get My Praise On,” the new music speaks to the current economic crisis, and many other painful situations people currently face. However, this time Kelly keeps it very upbeat and inspiring, and many listeners find themselves humming Kelly’s songs when they wake up in the morning. An Avid Philanthropist, Kelly created the Wilma A. Chapman Scholarship fund at the Cleveland Foundation, in honor of her mother. With the launch of Great is Your Grace, Kelly will indefinitely donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of “Excuse Me While I Get My Praise On” to the New Orleans Mission.
Kelly is a member of New Song Church where Ron Bradley is the pastor. She enjoys singing and speaking at various youth programs, church conferences, business conferences, and concerts.
