I’ve been down so many roads in my life. Some say we’re on a hero’s journey. It seems like a journey from zero to hero and then back to zero. I have been through the Cosmic Keyhole many times and beyond and then back again. Sometimes I feel an eternal yet ephemeral enso. The Enso is a circle that is a Zen symbol of enlightenment (Satori) or Self Realization. What a trip of Jungian Individuation this life has been. Often my life has been more of an Odd-at-Sea Odyssey. The following statements also resonate with what I have experienced on my Spiritual Odyssey…
We are not human beings on a spiritual journey. We are spiritual beings on a human journey....We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. ---Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
Does one really have to fret about enlightenment? No matter what road I travel, I’m going home
Everything in the universe is struggling to complete a circle to return to its source, to return to it only real Source, the Self. --- Vivekananada
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time ---T. S. Eliot
There is another road that I that I found (an ancient super highway) and I want to share it with you--- The Roman Road from the Bible… (Romans 3:10, 3:23, 5:8, 6:23, 10: 9-10 & 10:13).
Benediction to You
As you continue your Spiritual Odyssey, possibly Chasing a Feeling with great Determination, may you go Deeper and Higher and may you experience Satori in a Dewdrop and The Joy of Grace through Jesus Christ. May you experience Family Blessings realizing that some day you will have to say Farewell Love to all those you love here on planet earth---Realizing that we are all As Snowflakes Fall impermanent, ephemeral, unique and non-repeatable expressions of God’s Divine Love. May you experience salvation and Self Realization of loving everyone and everything as God loves you. May you be and see the Infinity of God’s Divinity—The Glory of Satori. I hope that you enjoy a little bit of this traveling music…as you are Going Home in the dewdrop and the teardrop on the “pale blue dot”-- planet earth. (Proverbs: 16:9, Psalm 73:26, Psalm 84:10 & I John 4:16-19)
Transcendental Thanks to…
Joe Koziarski for creating a calm and creative Christian climate in the recording studio and for his patience and expertise in editing, mixing and mastering the final CD. I want to express deep gratitude to my long time Christian friend Tom Warrington who played and added the string and bass arrangement to Farewell Love. That song was written with my son Ben after the deaths of my father--Ferdinand --June 25th 2009 and sister in law -- Margaret-- August 16, 2009. The song is dedicated to them and also to my mother Betty who moved from earth to Heaven -- February 2, 1998.
I have been blessed to have many mentors, colleagues, friends, family, through my Spiritual Odyssey. I would like to thank some of them here for helping me discover and lift my silver and gold along the road of Self Realization: Mr. James Barnes, David J. Morgan, Dr. Paul S. Mitch, Dr. Don Ammons, Dr. Robert Brady, Dr. Daniel Kuna, Dr. Rick Gloor and wife (Suzanne), Dr. Thomas R. Lopez, Dr. Robert L. Wilhoyte, artist Pete Diver and wife (Chris) who told me about the Roman Road and Stephanie Speck who helps me to live it out daily at work
Great Gratitude goes to Mr. and Mrs. James Sullivan for being great Christian parent in laws. They both have shared so many Family Blessings throughout the years with others. Deep Heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to my wife Nancy who has loved me unconditionally for nearly half of my life’s Odyssey. I tell everyone I meet: “When I grow up, I want to be just like her!” I want to express deep delight and love to the three jewels God has given to us--- Ben, Sam and Elijah for being creative free spirits who have brought bliss, joy and fulfillment to our lives. Finally to my siblings and their spouses: Dan & Sandy, Tom & Sandy, Ogie & Peggy Jeff & Margaret and sister Cheri & Danny for sharing a lot of family fun and play under the love and light of our parents Ferdinand and Betty by the Grace of God.
