KENJI KOMATSUZAKI
One of the pioneers of hammered dulcimer players in Japan.
Started playing the hammered dulcimer in 1986,
Since then he’s been playing not only as a Solo artist but also in his Celtic Ensemble called “HARD TO FIND” ,and with various musicians and units.
He gives lessons at classes in Sapporo, Hokkaido,
holds work-shops , imports hammered dulcimers for those who are interested in playing them.
He’s been working hard on spreading the charm of this wonderful musical instrument in Japan, wishing to share the pleasure of listening to the beautiful sound and music coming out of it.
