Biography

Kenny Ray Horton is an RIAA Certified, Gold Record Awarded songwriter who is also a well-accomplished vocalist. Receiving acclaim for co-writing the song "A Soldier's King" for Kenny Rogers, that was a springboard for his current career in song-writing. His music has been used on various television events including the Fox Television 4th of July broadcast in Chicago, IL and VH1 Events, as well as being aired on ABC, PBS, and has been featured on SiriusXM Radio's Bluegrass Junction. He is also being aired on over 150 reporting stations in France, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Canada and the United States, and his popularity continues to grow.

The album "Wherever You Are" was a collaboration between Kenny Ray and the famed guitar player and multi-platinum singer/songwriter, Bruce Gaitsch. Bruce produced this record on Kenny Ray and they each put their unique style into writing the songs for the album. Continuing his writing, Kenny Ray is collaborating with writers such as Crystal Bowersox, Jeff Silbar, Tom Wurth and Brian Walker.

Currently, Kenny Ray is preparing his latest release, "Missouri", featuring Rhonda Vincent while continuing work on the new CD due out next year.
