Kevin Carlson

Biography

Kevin Carlson is an Atlanta-based musician deeply influenced by the singer-songwriter tradition. A native of Georgia, Kevin grew up in Denver where he was first exposed to his early influences of Dan Fogelberg, Joni Mitchell and Kenny Loggins. In October 2008, five of Kevin’s songs were licensed for use on TV shows on MTV, E! and Oxygen. All of these songs can be heard on his debut CD release, Museum. Additionally, Kevin’s music has charted on Internet music charts such as UBL.com, where he held the #1 pop artist spot for 8 consecutive weeks in early 2009.

Critics have taken notice of Carlson's ability to write "deeply emotional songs without sliding into the Valley of the Cliche". He has also been called a "rare talent" and his first CD, Museum, a "must have CD".
