Biography

Although nowadays he is best known for playing bass in the Dave Rowe Trio, Kevin has been pushing the boundaries of bass guitar through his CDs Acidron and The View From Left Field. Kevin O'Reilly's music touches many genres but is defined by none. Kevin can layer his songs with loops, drown them in effects, play a solo piece or play with a full band. He insists on exploring and learning different musical styles and that has led to numerous strange journeys. FACE magazine claimed that "O'Reilly makes you see through your ears." FACE also said: "O'Reilly is to be commended for pushing the bass guitar beyond where whoever created it in the first place imagined it might go."
