BIOGRAPHY
Kevin Holmes is an amateur musician, originally from CT, who moved to NC in 1993. He received a BA in Music from Drew University in 1974 with a double major; music history, and music theory and composition, with his main instrument being voice. He sang with a couple of choral groups along the way, before, during, and after college. Kevin retired from GE after 20 years in the mid-2000's when he began playing banjo, fiddle, and mandolin in 2006 with lessons from Carl Jones. He's still learning on his own, the latest instrument being baritone uke. Being left-handed, he plays right-handed: "Because".
