The Wind Walkers
The Wind Walkers consists of two established lyricists Key Man (Kemanie Pasashii) and Frank Stickemz (Terrance Sims) who are long time friends that collaborated for this project. Key Man of Cloudy Mindz and Frank Stickemz of Ca.ny Music reunited to do a track for Key Man’s solo album. While in the mist of recording this track both artists realized that their creative vibe took on its own persona. In the next few weeks they had already knocked out 6 songs. One day while writing, the two realized that they should put out a mixtape to help promote their solo projects. Both being veteran lyricists and god MC’s in there own right, they decided to call the mixtape. The Wind Walkers
(He who speaks and walks upon the breath of the God). The first track they worked on “The Coalition” spoke truth to the lives of both artists. Though both MC’s were considered hardcore and underground, their artistry compelled them to also create music for the masses. Their first radio single “Mi Amor” a song for the ladies, produced by Cosmo Hickox made an immediate impact at the Coast 2 Coast Industry Mixer in Hollywood, CA where they won first place out of thirty artists. From there on The Wind Walkers mixtape has taken on a life of its own, filled with dope lyrics, hot beats, crazy energy, and hip hop in its rawest form.
